Chris Eubank Jr and Conor Benn are set to continue their family feud on Saturday night, almost 30 years on from the famous fight between their fathers. While thousands will be lucky enough to attend the O2, many more will be glued to their TV screens for the all-British showdown. But some boxing fans are going to have to cough up almost £30 to watch the bout.
The fight is set to be shown live on DAZN PPV in the UK and for non-subscribers, it is going to set you back £27.98. That is because the network have ensured any viewers must have purchased a one-month subscription, alongside the fight itself.
DAZN have priced the bout at £19.99 for existing customers, while a month-subscription package comes in at £7.99. And that means the fight is going to cost some boxing fans more than it did to watch Anthony Joshua’s latest world heavyweight title defeat to Oleksandr Usyk. However, they will get a whole month subscription to use regardless.
That fight currently holds the record for the most-expensive PPV in UK history at £26.95, but this weekend’s showdown is set to top that for some viewers.

Eubank Jr remains the favourite for the bout after cutting his weight down to 157lb, with his father insisting that is too dangerous for the fight to go ahead.
And Benn doesn’t believe his opponent will make weight for the bout, which is set to be played out in front of 20,000 fans at the O2 in London. “He said he’s a man of his word and a disciplined athlete, but do I see him making the weight? No,” he said.
“If he’s disciplined and a true professional then he’ll make the weight, but I just don’t think he has that respect there for an opponent or for me personally. I’m willing to fight him anyway, it isn’t a concern to me. But that was the weight we agreed and if he’s a man of his word he’ll come in at that weight.”
