Speaking on Thursday’s instalment of Lorraine, Tony lambasted I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! fans for giving Matt Hancock too much air time by voting for him to take part in Bushtucker Trials. The DJ, who is friends with campmate Boy George, told ITV viewers the rest of the celebrities should be given the chance to take on the challenges.
Tony fumed to Lorraine Kelly: “I think maybe we should all stop voting for him to do the trials and stop giving him that airtime.
“That’s the way to deal with this because you are giving him airtime and that is why he is in there.
“He wants to be ‘Matt Hancock’ and I think we as a nation, we kind of do that thing where we are like, ‘Let’s get him to do this.’
“The nation doesn’t want to watch him get covered in gunge, they want him to be covered in something far worse.

“They are not going to get that, so I think they should stop voting for him and give the rest of the team players a go and stop giving him the airtime.”
Lorraine thought Tony made an interesting point about the former Health Secretary’s appearance on the reality show.
However, Matt has been voted by the public to take part in the latest Bushtucker trial which will be broadcast on Thursday night.
A clip of the trial, released by ITV, shows Matt gasping for air in a water-based challenge.
He entered the camp on Wednesday’s instalment of the ITV show to the complete surprise of his fellow celebrities.
Some gave him a warm welcome, but Boy George was left in tears as he admitted he did not know if he could continue participating if Matt remained in the jungle.
Boy George admitted his mum could have died from Covid-19 and he would have quit if that happened.
He told campmate Scarlette Douglas: “If I had lost my mum, I would go. And I feel a little bit selfish, you know, just kind of everyone’s so nice to him and I was like Jesus, what are we gonna do?
