Brahmastra: First Indian film to make it to Disney’s global release slate! | Bollywood Bubble

Filmmaker Ayan Mukerji’s most ambitious trilogy Brahmastra has been creating a buzz ever since its announcement. The Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer has added a new feather to its cap. Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures has added the first part of the trilogy, to its global theatrical release slate.

This is the first time an Indian movie has made it to the list. The film will now rub shoulders with other Disney releases Thor: Love and Thunder, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, and Avatar: The Way of Water.

Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh shared the news on his social media handle. He wrote, “BRAHMASTRA’ MAKES IT TO DISNEY’S GLOBAL RELEASE CHART… #WaltDisneyStudiosMotionPictures has added #Brahmāstra Part One: #Shiva to its *global* theatrical release slate for 2022, which also includes #ThorLoveAndThunder, #BlackPantherWakandaForever and #AvatarTheWayOfWater.”

Recently the makers of the trilogy unveiled the motion poster of this big-budget venture. They also shared the teaser of the first song Kesariya. The response around both has been amazing from fans and audiences.

Brahmastra also features Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy and Nagarjuna Akkineni in pivotal roles. Produced by Fox Star Studios (owned by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures) and Dharma Productions, ‘Brahmāstra Part One: Shiva’ will release on 09.09.2022 in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.
