Brandon Miller had an interesting take on who he thinks the greatest basketball player of all time is. The top draft prospect selected Paul George – a player Miller is compared to and has modeled his game after.
That pick was widely ridiculed, as most fans and analysts would pick either Michael Jordan or LeBron James.
Still, Miller was asked about his GOAT pick at the NBA Draft on Thursday night, and the soon-to-be rookie doubled down.
“LeBron is definitely the best in the league but I’m a Paul George fan,” Miller told Taylor Rooks before the draft. “I thought I made it clear that my GOAT was Paul George.”

Miller will likely be selected in the top three, a draft selection that would give him an early leg up on his personal favorite player. George was drafted with the No. 10 pick in the 2010 Draft by the Indiana Pacers.
Miller is projected to go to either the Charlotte Hornets or the Portland Trail Blazers.
Either fit would work well for him as a player who does not need to dominate the ball to be effective. He could fit next to either LaMelo Ball or Damian Lillard as a secondary scoring option that could blossom into the team’s star with time and experience.
