Mullen Automotive in Brea said Thursday that it sold 22 electric cargo vans to the Randy Marion Automotive Group.
The sale represented the EV startup’s its first recorded revenue of $308,000 for the quarter ending June 30.
The company said in a statement that all vehicles are ready to be shipped, with the first going out June 29 from Mullen’s Tunica, Mississippi, assembly plant.

The recipient is Randy Marion Automotive Group, an authorized distributor in North Carolina.
“We continue to receive great interest from around the country for Mullen’s different commercial EVs and the campus van is proving to be a great fit with various different closed campus commercial applications,” said Brad Sigmon, vice president of fleet operations at Randy, in a statement.
All of Mullen’s commercial vehicles will be produced at its Tunica plant. Production of its Class 3 EV cab chassis truck will begin in July with first vehicle deliveries in August and September.
