According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the three-team trade centered around Kristaps Porzingis joining the Boston Celtics has “fallen apart.”
The Celtics, Wizards and Clippers were in deep discussions on the deal that would have also sent Malcolm Brogdon to Los Angeles.
The final part of the discussed trade would have given the Wizards Marcus Morris Sr. and draft compensation.

The deal was the latest big move from a Wizards team that appears to be heading into a full-on rebuild. Washington traded Bradley Beal to the Phoenix Suns in a blockbuster deal on Sunday, and it looked like they were doing the same thing with Porzingis on Wednesday.
With the trade falling apart, the three teams will have to look into other deals as the NBA Draft is set for Thursday evening.
The Wizards were set to receive the final pick of the first round, which makes the failure to get the deal done even worse for a team looking to build through the draft.
Boston loses out on a player they believed would help them get back to the NBA Finals or perhaps even win it, and the same can be said for the Clippers.
Brogdon appears to be removed from the peak of his career, but he still can provide valuable minutes as a backup point guard for a veteran team looking to contend.
