Dillon Brooks had a lot to say about LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers at the start of the Western Conference first round playoff series.
Then, when the Grizzlies were eliminated by the Lakers, he went silent.
Brooks refused to speak with reporters following his team’s first round exit this weekend. He’s since been fined by the NBA for his actions.
“The NBA fines Dillon Brooks $25,000 for violating the league’s media access rules. He did not make himself available to the media after all three Grizzlies’ road losses to the Lakers,” ESPN reporter Tim MacMahon shared.
This is the latest in what has been an embarrassing couple of days for Brooks and the Memphis Grizzlies.

Brooks likes to talk a lot when things are going well, but he embarrassingly went silent when his team lost.
The Grizzlies will have some soul searching to do this offseason, that’s for sure.
