The NBA has reportedly made a decision on a punishment for Denver Nuggets big man Nikola Jokic.
Jokic will not be suspended for his altercation with Phoenix Suns owner Mat Ishbia during Sunday night’s game, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
The two-time MVP tried to snatch the ball away from Ishbia, who was sitting courtside, and accidentally floored the executive with an elbow to the head.
Jokic, who was hit with a technical but not ejected, will have to pay a $25,000 fine, but he will be able to play in a pivotal Game 5 on Tuesday.

Ishbia, who officially became the Suns’ owner in February, tweeted earlier today that he did not feel Jokic should be suspended.
“Great win for the Suns last night in an amazing series so far! That should be and is the only story,” Ishbia wrote. Suspending or fining anyone over last nights incident would not be right. I have alot of respect for Jokic and don’t want to see anything like that. Excited for game 5! Go Suns!”

Jokic, who put up 53 points and 11 assists in Denver’s 129-124 loss in Game 4, defended himself post-game.
“The fan put the hand on me first,” Jokic said. “I thought the league was supposed to protect us. Maybe I am wrong. I know who he is, but he is a fan. Isn’t he?”
The series between the Nuggets and Suns is tied 2-2. Game 5 is set for 10 p.m. ET tomorrow night.
