Brentford beat Brighton 2-0 at the Gtech Community Stadium thanks to an Ivan Toney brace.

Toney marked his 100th Bees appearance by scoring a sublime flick in the first half before securing the three points from the spot.

The striker has now scored all 20 of his penalties taken for Brentford.

Brighton forced David Raya into some superb saves but couldn’t find a way through as new boss Roberto De Zerbi remains winless.

Thomas Frank will be delighted as his side bounced back from defeat at Newcastle and they now move above Liverpool in the Premier League table.
