Britney Spears’ family ‘fear she’s on meth’ and ‘may die like Amy Winehouse’: report

Britney Spears’ family fears she’s heading down the same tragic road as Amy Winehouse, according to a report.

Spears’ ex-husband, Kevin Federline, and her estranged father, Jamie, both believe the “Toxic” singer is on drugs and could die as a result, they told the Daily Mail.

“I fear she’s on meth – I’ve been praying someone would make it public and that she wakes up,” Federline told the outlet. “It’s terrifying. She is the mother of my boys.”

“Britney may die like Amy,” Jamie Spears reportedly said, referencing British singer Amy Winehouse, who died of alcohol poisoning at age 27.

The dire concerns come more than a year after the much publicized end of the conservatorship which controlled nearly every aspect of Spears’ life.

Spears’ sons, Preston, 17, and Jayden, 16, claim to have seen drugs delivered to her home and are still refusing to visit her, the Mail reported.

“Every time the telephone rings, I fear that there will be devastating news,” said Federline, who collects a whopping $40,000 in monthly child support from Spears. “I don’t want the boys to wake up one morning and find their mother has taken an overdose.”

Page Six broke the news that she gave the green light allowing the kids to move to Hawaii with Federline — a state in which she would have to pay support until they are 23.

Spears recently deleted her Instagram account, on which she’d made a number of eye catching semi-nude posts.
