It appears mum to be Brittany Bown may be taking a page out of Rihanna’s maternity style book after she was photographed supporting Brooke Sheed at a fundraising event.
Bown, 28, was seen with her partner Nic Naitanui at the charity event Grey Matter held at Dandelion in Karrinyup.
The STM columnist and pilates instructor wore a black dress with cut-outs and slightly off the shoulder, with her hair down and very simple makeup.
It was the couple’s first social scene appearance since they announced they were expecting a baby last month.
Sheed hosted the event, which fundraiser money for Charlie Teo Foundation, to support her mum, and others who have battled cancer.
Emmi Masten, partner of former West Coast Eagles player Chris, Nadia Rosa, partner of Tom Barrass, and event planner Courtney Hoskins were the brains behind the cocktail-style event.
Other Eagles players and their partners at the event included Tess Goodbody & Elliott Yeo, Danielle and Luke Shuey and Jeremy McGovern.
Last week, Bown showed off her bare baby bump on Instagram as she posed in her underwear in the bathroom.
In an exclusive interview and photoshoot on May 22’s edition of STM, the expectant parents shared that they were expecting a bundle of joy.
Naitanui, 32, praised his partner of two-and-a-half years will be the “perfect mother” and shared how he plans to pass on his Fijian culture to their child.
“I’d love my kids to be bilingual and speak both languages. And also just have a sense of understanding of where they come from, and what’s come before.”
The baby is due in September. The gender will be revealed during their baby shower.
