The WNBA star shared a heartfelt message to Cherelle Griner on social media.
“I’m grateful that on this day @cherelletgriner was brought into this world. Without her I wouldn’t have found my person I wouldn’t know what love is and I for sure would feel alone in this world if you weren’t here. I love you baby with my whole heart,” she wrote.
“I hope in this next year of your life there is nothing but joy, happiness, and no dark days my love. Your truly the most perfect woman on this planet and I’m lucky enough to be here by your side.”
The wife of the WNBA star had a difficult past year, with Brittney Griner being imprisoned in Russia for nearly a year.
