Brittney Griner and her wife, Cherelle Griner, have been making some notable appearances since the WNBA star returned home in December.
This past week, Brittney Griner and her wife, Cherelle, made an appearance at the Met Gala.
They went viral.
This is not Brittney’s first marriage.
She was previously married to fellow WNBA player Glory Johnson. The ex-wife of the prominent WNBA star had a telling admission on their relationship.
“After all the things that she put me and my family through, I should hate this person. But at the end of the day, I still worry about how she’s taking all this,” Johnson told PEOPLE.
Despite marrying Brittney, Glory does not consider herself to be gay.
“You work things out and fight for what you love,” Johnson, then 25, told PEOPLE. “It wasn’t about other people. It was about us.”
