C.P. Company is kicking off the Fall/Winter 2022 season with its latest Metropolis Series.
Returning for its fifth instalment, the new collection continues to push the boundaries of innovation and urban functionality, whilst representing the Italian label’s exploration of a purely technological design language.
Drawing on the brand’s signature Metropolis jacket designed by Moreno Ferrari in 1999, the limited-edition offering seeks to meet the demands of city living and stress of urban life. Boasting a industrial-focused design cadence, key pieces this season utilise the same contemporary fabrics and manufacturing processing first used in the ‘90s, as well as industrial objects like anti-pollution masks, torches, travels pillows and a scooter which inspired each design.
Classic shades of “Slate Grey”, black, “Deep Caramel” and brown dress the collection’s standout pieces including jackets, overshirts, hoodies, and button-downs. Technical details this time round include a new pocket system for functional yet seamless detailing, while sweatpants, cargo pants, T-shirts, caps and beanies are completed with subtle C.P. branding.
