University of Calicut (UoC) has released the PG trial allotment list 2021 on the PG Admission Portal, pgcap.uoc.ac.in. Candidates who have registered for PG admissions 2021-22 now can download the college-wise PG trial allotment. The trial is conducted to give an idea to the applicants about chances of getting allotment to a course and college based on the options, merit, and reservation rules. With this, the candidates can log in to CAP from the home page and use the editing facility.

After editing, the candidates have to ensure that the application has been finalized and then take a final printout of the edited application. The trial allotment is provisional and does not guarantee the candidate to get allotment in a college or a programme. The trial ranks may vary in actual allotment subject to the editing facility used by the applicants after the trial allotment.

Once the trial allotment and the period earmarked for editing, the first allotment list will be published. Meanwhile, the university has to forward the list of community quota & PwD quota candidates by November 12, 2021. According to the PG admission schedule, the first allotment list will be released on November 15. Thereafter, a mandatory fee has to be paid to confirm the first allotment list to take place from November 15 to 18, 2021.

It should be noted that the trial allotment does not guarantee the candidates to get allotment in a college or a course of their choice, since the ranks may vary in actual allotment subject to the editing facility used by the applicants after the trial allotment.
