Call the Midwife’s Trixie Franklin glows as she marries Matthew

A source said: “We can exclusively reveal that Trixie, who disappeared during series 11 of the show to coincide with Helen’s real-life pregnancy, has some happy news.

“Helen George and Olly Rix made a spectacular bride and groom as they filmed scenes for Trixie and Matthew’s wedding in London for series 12 of the BBC show.”

Trixie donned a classic 1960s white tailored wedding dress with a matching pillbox hat for her big day.

She wore her platinum locks in a low sleek bun, but opted for nude lipstick rather than a traditional red gloss which viewers are used to.
