Calvin Harris returns with star-studded single.
A week before dropping his sixth studio album, the Scottish DJ/producer gifted fans with “New to You,” featuring Normani, Tinashe and Offset. Harris announced the release via Twitter on Monday, saying it would arrive a week before he unleashes Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 2.
This isn’t the first time Harris has worked with the guest artists. He teamed up with Tinashe on “Dollar Signs” from his 2014 project Motion; joined forces with Normani on 2018’s “Checklist” and “Slow Down”; and connected with Offset on the Frank Ocean-assisted “Slide” off 2017’s Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1.
“New to You” marks the fourth single off Harris’ fast-approaching album, following “Potion” with Dua Lipa and Young Thug, “New Money” featuring 21 Savage,” and “Stay With Me” assisted by Justin Timberlake, Halsey, and Pharrell. You can stream the single now on Apple Music and Spotify.
Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 2 will deliver 14 tracks with additional guest appearances by Snoop Dogg, Latto, Pusha-T, Coi Leray, Busta Rhymes, 6lack, and more. The project is scheduled to drop next Friday, August 5.
