During her time as a member of the Royal Family, Queen Consort Camilla’s style has become more polished and refined, with the help of a team of stylists. However, there is more at play than simply looking the part, with fashion coach Miranda Holder explaining how many of her style choices also help to complement her figure.
Miranda is a fashion coach who is known for her viral TikTok style videos posted under the username @themirandaholder ‘Your Feel Good Fashion Coach’.
Speaking to Express.co.uk, she revealed: “One of the key silhouettes which really work for Camilla.”
Standing at five feet and eight inches, Camilla is by no means short, but she still frequently wears certain ensembles which help to further extend her frame.
Miranda said: “She is wearing more and more of these really kimono-style jackets, in a floaty chiffon or taffeta material, which really elongate the silhouette and draw the eye up and down.

Elegant tailoring is another favourite of Camilla’s, with Anna Valentine often dressing the Queen Consort in more structured pieces.
Miranda said: “She looks fantastic in tailoring and that does a lot for her because it just adds structure and shape where it’s needed.
“The jackets will naturally nip her in at the waist or broaden her to open up her neckline with the lapels. A stand collar elongates her neck.
“I like the fit and flare silhouette on her and she does normally go for that in preference over the straight skirt because it follows the line of her figure and balances the silhouette.”
The neckline of Camilla’s outfits plays a huge role in the overall illusion they offer.
Miranda explained: “She should always keep her neckline open.
“Have a nice V-neck to give a bit of drama or a scoop neck, but she needs to keep that area open.
“Because of her bone structure and the way she’s built, that’s her most flattering look.
“She can fill it with jewellery, which she frequently does, but just have that skin [on show] because it just balances out everything and great style is all about balance.”
Even Camilla’s famous hats and headpieces play a crucial role in balancing out her ensembles.
Miranda explained: “She also loves her big feathery Philip Treacy collections – loads and loads of marabou feathers on top of a fairly sizeable hat which balances out her figure.”
In doing so, the Queen Consort is able to create a “lovely curve and guide the eyes”.
Miranda added: “It really finishes her off, which is why she has big hair as well. It really suits her having volume there.”
