Another day, another Candace Cameron Bure drama—this time involving how often she eats fast food? Honestly it’s all very ¯\_(ツ)_/¯, but this all started a couple days ago when Candace hopped on Instagram Stories to claim she hasn’t eaten fast food in 20 years:
“I haven’t eaten fast food except for In-N-Out in 20 years,” Candace said, via a musing captured by Buzzfeed. “Some days I wonder what a burger and fries is like from McDonald’s or Burger King or Wendy’s or any of those other places I’ve never eaten at. Today is that day. Am I going to find out? No. And no, I’ve never had Taco Bell or anything similar. I don’t regret it. You can’t convince me otherwise.”
Naturally, it took social media about two seconds to dust off a since deleted post of Candace posing with some Chick-Fil-A with the caption “We love chikin!”
And now her rep is out here releasing a statement to combat claims that Candace has been living in a house of fast food lies, explaining to Insider:
“Candace told me that she drove her son to get food at Chick-fil-A and she only ordered an iced tea for herself. Candace is only holding a cup.” The rep also called claims about her lying “untrue” and “ridiculous.”
