Pets play such an important role in their pet parents’ lives, they can be your friend, your family, your protector, and they mean the whole world to their parents. Pets can go all out for their family, they can go to any and every extent to save their loved ones and this case is the perfect example of that.
Kelly Andrews, residing in Connecticut, United States is a parent to a baby girl and a canine named Henry. Kelly was annoyed with Henry entering her baby’s nursery and waking her up every time she would fall asleep. She wanted her sick daughter to sleep well and recover but Henry would just not let that happen. Kelly never could have imagined that it would be the reason her daughter is alive today.
Kelly shared this update on her official Twitter account. In the post, Kelly stated that her daughter was sick and Henry would just not let her sleep. She mentioned that she was very upset with Henry until she noticed her daughter wasn’t breathing. They spent the whole night in the hospital and she would have never known that her daughter stopped breathing if it wasn’t for Henry.
Last night the dog kept breaking into the nursery and waking the baby. She’s been sick, and I was getting so fed up with him.
Until she stopped breathing.
We spent the night in the hospital. I don’t know what would have happened if he hadn’t woken her. We don’t deserve dogs. pic.twitter.com/PBJCJVflgh

Later she shared another update on Twitter in which she mentioned that her daughter is doing well. In the post, she mentioned that the baby is feeling much better and they are back home with Henry. Henry bravely held onto the fort all night even though he is scared of the dark.
Kelly also gave a shout-out to the Connecticut Children’s hospital for all the efforts they put into taking care of her daughter. The post received a lot of attention and it went viral on the micro blogging platforms. They have received over 102.5k likes and more than 10,000 retweets.
