Toronto’s Mattea Roach’s Jeopardy! streak continued Thursday with her 18th win.

One more win to go and she will hit 19 victories and tie David Madden and Jason Zuffranieri for the sixth most consecutive wins.
Her total winnings are now at US$438,183.
Roach, 23, who is a tutor, held on to her now 18-game winning streak Thursday night, which is the seventh longest in the game show’s history.
In Nova Scotia where she is originally from, she is known as Canada’s sweetheart and the show calls her the youngest super champ in the game’s history.
Roach has answered 92% of her clues correctly.
She’s also earned a spot in the show’s Tournament of Champions, which will air in the fall.
During Thursday’s segment where contestants share an experience, Roach told how she went to a RuPaul’s Drag Race event on a blind date.
