MUMBAI: Extending his sensational run in County cricket, India’s Test No 3 Cheteshwar Pujara, making his captaincy debut for Sussex, slammed an unbeaten double century (212 not out, 383b, 20×4, 2×6)- his third double ton in just seven games this season- to take his team to 494 for eight against on Day 2 against Middlesex at Lord’s on Wednesday.

Sundar then took the wickets of Ryan Rickelton (22), Rob Keogh (54), Tom Taylor (1) and Lewis McManus. However, the 22-year-old was then out for just 2 as Lancashire were tottering at 111 for 7 in reply.
Before his County debut, Sundar had said that he was looking forward to playing with English swing great James Anderson at Lancashire-his favourite team in childhood.
Saini took 5-72 in 18 overs to help Kent dismiss Warwickshire for 225. The Delhi fast bowler took the wickets of Chris Benjamin (7), Dan Mousley (0), wicketkeeper Michael Burgess (0), Henry Brookes (6) and Craig Miles (5). Saini had earlier got out for a duck as Kent were dismissed for 165.
