Virgin Hotels New Orleans will be celebrity the season by throwing a Bunny Burlesque Brunch with a variety of breakfast favorites and themed cocktails. One of those cocktails will be the Eostre’s Blessing, which is named after the goddess whose celebration Easter comes from. This light and aromatic cocktail features fresh fruits and bright flavors such as Skyy Blood Orange, Grand Marnier, cranberry juice, lemon juice, simple syrup, edible pink glitter, edible flower. “I wanted to celebrate Eostre, who some say is the reason we even have spring and the Easter holiday! To channel the rich bounty that the season gives us, I used fresh fruit and bright spirits to create this unique bright pink cocktail. As a final touch, the cocktail is garnished with an edible flower. Its fragrance opens up the cocktail stimulating the olfactory senses and simultaneously celebrating spring at its most beautiful bloom,” said Paula Echevarria, bartender at Virgin Hotels New Orleans.

It’s everything you want to be drinking as you turn the corner into spring. Bright, fresh cucumber and mint with a pop of lime. Fresh and balanced from the garden: Think muddled mint meets cucumber,” said bartender Jonathan Borin.

We use bright florals, fresh springy lavender flavor and as sunny with pastel elements as the name suggests,” said Gary Wallach, Managing Partner and Beverage Director.

The hibiscus syrup and the rhubarb makes the drink gorgeous and perfect for enjoying on an Easter day. Aside from the beautiful floral color, guests love the hints of ginger and honey that are loaded in this drink. It also comes with a tequila shooter if you want to take things up a notch. All ingredients are kegged and force carbonated, served bright and sparkling. “The Mango Methuselah is a perennial spring time favorite of ours leaning into fresh carrot, tropical fruit, and all the fundamentals of a bread and butter pickle. Perfect to sip during the Easter holiday.
