If there’s anyone who isn’t afraid to experiment with her hair, it’s Cardi B. (Honestly, is Cardi B afraid of anything?) We’ve been reporting on her vast array of wigs since her 2017 “MotorSport” video with Nicki Minaj, which was only the beginning of her dramatic color and length switches. But it’s safe to say we’ve never seen the rapper with a hairstyle quite like this before.
On Wednesday, June 8, Cardi posted a carousel of photos to her Instagram grid showing a stunning, monochromatic, head-to-toe pink look. We’re talkin’ pink, pointy knee-high boots, pink denim cutoffs, a tied-up pink shirt, a pink purse, pink-lensed sunglasses, and the pièce de ré·sis·tance: a pink bowl cut.
Cardi rarely wears short hair. We’ve seen her with a black pixie cut at the 2018 VMAs and a side-swept, periwinkle short style at The Big Game Weekend in 2019, but a bowl cut? That’s a first. Especially in Pepto pink.

A closer look at the her hands farther into the carousel shows Cardi’s manicure matches, too. The super-long, pointy nails feature swirls of hot pink and white over a bubblegum pink base. In fact, it seems like the only thing she’s wearing that isn’t pink is her Van Cleef & Arpels bracelets — but we can totally forgive that considering how absolutely perfect the rest of the matchy-matchy look is.
