Carole Middleton copies Kate’s ‘lovely autumnal’ style

Carole Middleton copies Kate’s ‘lovely autumnal’ style

Party Pieces shared a picture with a caption reading: “Carole says ‘Halloween is an autumn highlight for me. I can still remember the fun and frights from my own childhood; the chance to dress up, decorate pumpkins and go trick-or-treating! I’ve even grown my own pumpkins this year, so I’m looking forward to decorating those with my loved ones’.”

Carole Middleton, who is now 67 years old, looked better than ever posing in what looked like her own garden.

The mother-of-three wore the Roseate Sweater for the portrait, a cosy jumper from Barbour in light blue, navy and brown tones. She combined the sweater with blue jeans and accessorised with a large gold ring.

Many royal fans took to social media to point out how much Carole resembles Kate, Princess of Wales, in the new photograph. On Instagram, user @aliceleeong said: “Carole looks so young” and @luxmeagainpreloved commented: “Kate is getting a sneak preview of what she will look like in 25 years. Her mom looks fantastic.”

Royal watcher @sandrasfourseasons added: “I love Carole’s style, she’s such a gracious elegant woman.”

Another one, @2414_betty, said Catherine “looks just like her” and @goosegirlenfys agreed saying: “Carole is ‘Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V’ the Princess of Wales. They look so alike!”

Social media user @kangoochristie commented Carole is “ageing like the finest wine”.

Royal watcher @wilbursmithmy added: “Carole looks amazing for her age… her figure and style are admirable… Fantastic look!!!!”

Fans loved her relaxed and cosy outfit with many describing it as a “lovely autumnal” and “cosy looking jumper”. Another one, @rachelhlhannam, said Carole looked fantastic wearing the “gorgeous sweater”.

DON’T MISS

But this is not the first time Carole poses for one of her campaigns as she is often seen on the Party Pieces website looking beautiful while promoting her own brand.

Carole and Kate not only look alike but mother and daughter also share a very similar style and have been spotted wearing almost identical outfits on many occasions.

In fact, the look Carole chose for the Halloween campaign is very similar to the outfit the Princess of Wales donned in Durham in 2021.

Last year, Princess Kate visited Manor Farm in Little Stainton, near Durham with Prince William. For the country visit, the royal wore a cosy cream jumper with a blue and brown pattern around the neck and blue jeans.

Princess Kate seemed to be wearing a ruffled white shirt underneath the jumper and combined the outfit with a dark green Barbour jacket.

The Princess of Wales finished her country look with a pair of brown boots and a pair of gold hoop earrings.

During their visit, the Prince and Princess of Wales handled sheep and took turns behind the wheel of a tractor.

The couple took the opportunity to discuss sustainable farming, climate change and mental health during their trip to Little Stainton, near Darlington.

The mother and daughter’s style is so similar that Carole has actually borrowed some of Kate’s clothes before.

Earlier this year, Carole attended the Royal Ascot with her husband Michael Middleton where she wore a summery pink midi dress.

She donned the ME+EM ‘Pink Colour Block Silk Shirt Dress’ which was previously worn by the Princess of Wales.

But who wore it better? Royal fans took to social media to decide. Instagram user @courtmanchu said: “Good on her, it suits her and she looks like she’s having a really great time!”

However, others thought the dress was “inappropriate” as it was somewhat see-through. Social media user @madame.atmaja said: “She’s fabulous, I love her! But I cannot see a 60s-year-old lady wearing a see-through.”
