CASETiFY, the tech accessory brand known for its sustainable, protective cellphone cases, has united with Spanish artist Javier Calleja for a playful collaboration that pays homage to the artist’s unique sculptures, paintings and drawings.
A pioneer in creative expression, Calleja is a Malaga-based artist who is best known for his instantly recognisable figurative works, which are designed with disproportionately large heads, animated wide eyes, and satirical text. Drawing on his personal experience and childhood memories to create his iconic characters, Calleja prefers not to explain his work and instead lets the observer “finish” the piece with their own interpretations.
The collection includes six Impact cases dressed in iconic expressions inspired by Rene Migrette, as well as new and exclusive designs. Art enthusiasts looking to add to their collection can also get their hands on a limited-edition Canvas Case, which has been designed to mimic a real painter’s canvas and features one of Calleja’s wide-eyed characters.
