The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has conducted the Class 12 term 1 Business Studies exam today, on December 08. The OMR-based exam for Business Studies (054) is reportedly held successfully from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm. Students who appear in the Class 12th Business Studies exam may check the unofficial answer key, questions review, and paper analysis as shared by the exam experts below. The official answer key is expected at the website cbse.nic.in, once the board exams are over.
Based on the feedback received from the students, the Business Studies paper was average in difficulty. In the term-1 Business Studies paper, questions were asked from topics including- Nature and Significance of Management, Principles of Management, Business Environment, Planning, and Organizing. In the OMR-based question paper, students were provided choices in attempting questions.
CBSE Class 12 Business Studies Paper Analysis:
The board exam for the Class 12 Business Studies paper is held for a maximum of 40 marks. The question paper was carrying 50 questions divided into three sections A, B, and C. Students were given a time duration of 90 minutes to attempt all questions. Students were required to write the correct option that is A, B, C, or D in the OMR sheet. According to the proposed examination scheme, all questions carry equal weightage and there is no provision of negative marking.

According to the feedback from the students, section A and section B had 24 questions each of which 20 questions were to be attempted in each section. Whereas in section C, 10 questions had to be attempted of 12 by the students.

According to the media reports, the Class 12 term 1 Business Studies paper is held following CBSE’s guidelines. Students were allowed to report carrying black/ blue ballpoint pens at the examination centers 30 minutes before the examination. Of total of 50 marks (40 paper+10 internal assessment), students will be awarded marks in term-1 results.
