CBSE Chemistry Term-1 Paper 2021: Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE has conducted Class 12 Chemistry term-1 exam today, December 14, 2021. The OMR-based Chemistry paper is held at registered centres across the country. The paper carrying a maximum of 35 marks is now over with a moderate to difficult level. Students who appear in CBSE Class 12 Chemistry term-1 exam can check question paper insight, its analysis, and answer key provided by the exam experts.

Based on the student’s feedback, the overall level of today’s Chemistry paper (043) was moderate to difficult. Questions asked from Physical and Inorganic Chemistry were comparatively difficult than Organic Chemistry. 

As per the schedule, the Chemistry paper is held from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm. Candidates were given additional 15 minutes to read the paper. The question paper along with the OMR sheet was disbursed among the students 10 minutes before the start of the exam. The candidates were strictly instructed to follow the COVID-19 instructions and safety protocols.

CBSE Class 12 Chemistry Answer Key 2021:

The question paper is of a maximum 35 marks. The Chemistry paper contained three sections- Section A, B, & C. As per the report, Section A had 25 questions of which 20 questions had to be answered by the students. Similarly in Section B, of total 24 questions, students had to attempt any 20 questions. While in Section C, total 6 questions were asked of which any 5 questions had to be attempted. Students were given a total of 90 minutes to attempt these questions.

Questions in the term 1 Chemistry paper were asked from 6 units- Solid State, Solutions, p-Block Elements, Haloalkanes and Haloarenes, Alcohols, Phenols and Ethers, and Biomolecules.  Here is the analysis of the CBSE Class 12 Chemistry paper (Term 1) by the DoubtNut exam experts. 

It has been mentioned in the exam scheme, that all questions carry equal marks and there is no negative marking for the wrong answers.
