Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on December 9 conducts Class 12 exam for Geography paper. The 90 minutes duration examination is reportedly held successfully from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm. Students were required to submit their correct responses through the OMR sheets. 

Those who appear for CBSE Class 12th Geography (paper code 029) exam today on December 09, may check the paper analysis and unofficial answer key of the OMR-based term-1 exam below. The analysis is facilitated by the different educators after the examination is over. Based on the feedback received from the students, the Geography term 1 paper was moderate to difficult in level.

CBSE Class 12 Geography 9 Dec Paper Analysis

The Geography paper contains three sections (A, B & C). Section A had 24 questions of which students had to attempt any 20 questions. Similarly, section B had 24 questions and students had to attempt any 20 questions (Map Section (Q.No. 25-29) is mandatory to attempt). Section C had 12 questions of which 10 questions were to be attempted. First part of Section C (Source-based had 4 questions (Q.No. 49-52) and all were to be attempted).

Here below are the opinions shared by the students after the Class 12 Geography paper-

  • “The overall level was moderate,” says several students after the examination.
  • Some questions were a bit tricky. The Indian Geography was comparatively easier than World Geography.
  • Some options given in the question paper were very close.
