Celtics Coach Joe Mazzulla Went Overboard With His 'Mindset' For Game 5

The Boston Celtics will face the Miami Heat in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Finals on Thursday at TD Garden.

With the team just one loss from elimination, head coach Joe Mazzulla has a certain mindset heading into the matchup.

The Celtics were able to stave off elimination in Game 4 of the playoff series with a 116-99 victory on Tuesday at American Airlines Arena, the best the Celtics have looked in this series.

But that was just one game. The Celtics are still down 3-1 in the series and have to win three straight to pull off the comeback, although no team has ever recovered from a 3-0 deficit in NBA history.

Could the Celtics become the first team to do so?

We’ll see. But it starts with another must-win situation on Thursday.
