The Eastern Conference Finals are heading to a seventh game, thanks to Derrick White.
White, who is in his sixth NBA season, hit the biggest shot of his life last night, tipping in a missed three by Marcus Smart at the buzzer to lift the Boston Celtics to a 104-103 win over the Miami Heat in Game 6.
White had been the inbounder on the play. With the win, Boston is just one more victory away from becoming the first team in NBA history to rally from a 3-0 deficit to win a series.

White’s heroics have earned the unsung guard out of Colorado a new and NSFW nickname from the Celtics’ faithful: “Derrick F—-n’ White.”
We’ll include the cleaned up take on White’s new moniker in this post, but there’s plenty of examples of the raw, uncut version on social media.
Beyond happy! That was the craziest last 30 seconds of any basketball game.

Last night, “Derrick F—-n’ White” carved out a spot in Celtics lore, one that will only grow if Boston wins Game 7.
“It don’t do no good to stand in the corner there, whether he makes it or not,” White said postgame, “so I just was crashing the glass, and it came right to me.”
Game 7 between the Heat and Celtics is set for Monday night at 8:30 p.m. ET.
