The Boston Celtics made an addition to the coaching staff of head coach Joe Mazzulla on Sunday.
According to Adrian Wojnarowski, it’s the talented Charles Lee, a former associate head coach for the Milwaukee Bucks.
“Charles Lee is finalizing a deal to join the Boston Celtics as the lead assistant coach, sources tell ESPN. Lee had been the associate head coach with Milwaukee and a finalist for the Toronto and Detroit head jobs.”

Lee is now the second addition on the Celtics coaching staff after the team added Sam Cassell, who was previously an assistant coach under Doc Rivers for the Los Angeles and Philadelphia 76ers, to Mazzulla’s coaching staff.
Mazzulla, 34, led the Celtics to the Eastern Conference Semifinals in his first year as head coach.
The Celtics fell just short of becoming the first team in NBA history to win a series after trailing 3-0.
