On Monday night, Charles Barkley revealed his prediction for the second-round series between the Lakers and Warriors.

Although he’s not sure which version of Anthony Davis will show up on a nightly basis, Barkley is rolling with the Lakers.

“I still like the Lakers in the next series, I do. I think it’s going to be a great series,” Barkley said. “But my faith in Anthony Davis – I can’t trust that dude. He played great every other game [last series]. But can Anthony Davis dominate for four games? Because I think he has a huge advantage. I don’t think they have anyone who can guard him. But he’s so inconsistent.”

This is a fair point from Barkley.

Davis underperformed at times in the first round, scoring 13 points in a Game 2 loss to the Grizzlies and 12 points in a Game 4 overtime win.

If the Lakers are going to make the Western Conference finals, they’ll need Davis to impose his will against the Warriors.

Game 1 between the Lakers and Warriors will tip off this Tuesday at 10 p.m. ET.
