Charles Oakley had some distinct thoughts on Larry Bird during a radio hit on Wednesday.
Oakley was told how Dennis Rodman said that Bird wouldn’t be able to play in today’s NBA and he couldn’t disagree with him more.
Larry Bird is a legend, and is a top 10 player of all-time,” Oakley said. “The guy won championships and always carried the team. He’s always been a stand-up guy.”

Oakley would be right since Bird won three championships during his 13-year NBA career and also led the Boston Celtics to five NBA Finals appearances.
Bird also was a two-time NBA Finals MVP and a three-time NBA regular season MVP.
He’s one of the best players in the history of the sport and nothing will ever change that.
