Charlotte might be one of the most underrated teams in the country and I won’t hesitate to back them today in the CBI semifinals.
The 49ers rank 22nd in the country in effective field goal percentage, and they had impressive wins this season against teams like Boise State and Davidson.
I also expect Charlotte to find a lot of success with its perimeter shooting in this game. 36.2% of the points scored by Charlotte this season has come from 3-point shots, which is the 37th most in the country.
Now, they get to take on a Radford team that’s 201st in opponent three-point field goal percentage, allowing teams to shoot 34.2% from beyond the arc.
The Highlanders have also had some turnover issues this season, ranking 214th in turnovers per possession.
