Although pick-up lines can be cheesy, and sometimes mortifying, they make for a great laugh if it all works out.

This was certainly the case for Mitch and Sara, who met at their local church at the beginning of the pandemic.

Mitch messaged Sara; “If COVID doesn’t take you out, can I?” It ignited their love story and went down in history to be mentioned in many of the speeches at their wedding reception three years later.

Mitch and Sara tied the knot on January 20, 2023, at Sandalford Wines in the Swan Valley.

The bride wore a bespoke gown from Archela Bridal in North Perth, paired with pearl earrings that her mum wore to her wedding.

Honeymoon

The newlyweds jetted off to Bali for eight days of relaxation before a quick trip to WA’s South West.
