Chelsea deal confirmed, Man Utd agree terms, Arsenal find new Odegaard

Independiente del Valle have confirmed that they have sold Kendry Paez to Chelsea, with the midfielder set to head to Stamford Bridge when he turns 18.

The Ecuador prospect has been signed in a deal worth £17.5million, with the Blues convinced that the 16-year-old will develop into a star as he continues his progress.

Independiente del Valle director Santiago Morales said: “Today, I can say that Kendry Paez, in two years’ time, will go to Chelsea.

“We received offers from Borussia Dortmund and Manchester United, Chelsea were the team that showed the most interest.”
