Chhath Puja 2021: The auspicious four-day festival, dedicated to the Lord Surya, started on November 8 and will go on till November 11. On the last two days of the festival, the devotees offer arghya to the Sun God and the Chhathi Maiya. It begins six days after Diwali and on the sixth day of the month of Kartik.(PTI)

According to the Hindu calendar, the second day of Chhath puja, also called Kharna, was celebrated on November 9, Tuesday, when devotees kept fast from sunrise to sunset and offered the prasad of kheer made with gud and Arwa chawal to the Sun God and Chhathi Maiya.
