The operators of the Chick-fil-A location in Alcoa are missing a key component of their sign next to the freeway and want it back.
In fact, they want it back so badly that they are offering free food for a year – through gift cards – for anyone who returns it.
“We need your help! Our sign has disappeared and we need help to find it!” reads the Facebook post.
“Whoever turns it in will be asked no questions,” their plea continued. “We are awarding our finder Chick-fil-A for a year (52 digital offer cards) when the sign is returned.”
Several commenters below the post on Facebook said they believe it might have flown off during a recent storm in the area, with some mentioning the Cracker Barrel on the other side of the highway.
“Can confirm, was at the bottom of the hill, blown off after the storm we had,” one person wrote. “Drove right by it. Now I wish I’d stopped and grabbed it. Someone probably hauled it off as trash or for a cool piece of man-cave deco.”
