So Kaizer Chiefs have been back at Naturena to prepare for the second round. Let’s take a quick look at which players pass the ball better than others in Arthur Zwane’s team.

Some players are more important than others. For Amakhosi, the most vital individual is Yusuf Maart in the center of midfield.

The 27-year-old from Atlantis, Western Cape is followed by Keagan Dolly and surprisingly Dillan Solomons at right-back.

Top three by numbers in 16 games:

1. Maart: 437 passes
2. Dolly: 357 passes
3. Solomons: 301 passes.

FIVE JANUARY SIGNINGS AMAKHOSI COULD MAKE 

Meanwhile, the 12-time league champions are linked with a couple of possible signings in the looming January transfer window.

The list of reported targets features five players but none of us expect Amakhosi to unveil five players in January. The reality is that for every target there has to be an option B or C.

Examples are Pule Mmodi or Katlego Otladisa as well as Balint Bajner or Dino Ndlovu.
