MMA fighter Choo Sung Hoon’s father has passed away.
On April 18, Choo Sung Hoon’s agency announced, “Choo Sung Hoon’s father Choo Gye Yi passed away today at the age of 73.”
As soon as Choo Sung Hoon heard the news of his father’s passing, he immediately returned to Japan, where he plans to hold a quiet funeral with his close friends and family.
The fighter’s agency added, “We convey our deep comfort and condolences to Choo Sung Hoon and his family.”
Choo Sung Hoon’s father previously appeared on KBS 2TV’s “The Return of Superman” together with his son and granddaughter Sarang.
Following the announcement, Choo Sung Hoon took to Instagram to mourn his father and share several family photos.
