Everyone knows that Victor Wembanyama is going to be the first overall selection in the 2023 NBA Draft on Thursday night.
That’s been the expectation for a long time and it’s not about to just disappear with one day to go.
Wembanyama will be selected by the San Antonio Spurs and if you’re asking Chris Broussard, he thinks his ceiling is “GOAT” (greatest of all-time).
“The ceiling? Ceiling is GOAT,” Broussard said. “Like is it possible? Yes!”

Man, those are some high expectations for a player who hasn’t even played a single NBA game yet.
That said, there’s a reason why he’s been hyped up so much. He’s a 7-foot-5 player who can shoot, pass, and defend all at an elite level.
Seeing him get to work with Gregg Popovich, who is one of the greatest head coaches of all time, will be extraordinary. There’s no doubt he’ll get the Spurs back on the map as they’ve had a rough last few seasons.
