Chrissy Teigen is spicing up her life. The model decided to skip the summery blonde in favor of a warm, rich ginger red instead. Teigen shared her updated hue on Instagram with a short video of the finished product. “Breaking news: woman gets new hair color!!!!!!!!!” she wrote, tagging colorist Matt Rez, who crafted the spicy shade. Teigan was previously brunette, with dark roots and lighter, caramel brown mid-lengths to ends, but she’s now firmly on Team Redhead. The color is like a 2023 version of Ginger Spice’s signature deep red with lighter money pieces; Teigen’s base color is a classic auburn with a slightly darker smudged root, plus a few strategically-placed strawberry highlights to frame her face and add brightness.
To finish off the transformation, stylist Rikke Gajda gave Teigan a smooth blowout with a slight ’90s vibe and makeup artist Kristine Studden glammed up the mom of three with a warm peach blush, full brows, and a glossy rose lip. Teigen and husband John Legend welcomed their third child, baby daughter Esti, in January, so it makes sense that the new mom would be ready for a little much-deserved pampering.
