When Christina Aguilera visited the enormously popular podcast Call Her Daddy, she had a little surprise hidden in her manicure. The musician was there to talk about sexual health and embracing your sexuality and she rocked a set of nails to match.
Aguilera worked with celebrity manicurist Zola Ganzorigt on her vulva-themed manicure, which perfectly matched the bottle of her Playground Love Sesh lubricant. (Aguilera is the cofounder and chief brand advisor of the sexual wellness brand.) Ganzorigt crafted a super pale pink set of super long stiletto press-on nails embellished with a variety of brighter pink 3D vulvas in different sizes, plus two open mouth decals on Aguilera’s thumbs.
The nails were a topic of conversation on the podcast, with host Alex Cooper asking Aguilera what exactly her manicure entailed. “They’re so fun. It’s open to interpretation,” the singer said with a wink. “It could be a vagina; it could be lips, but two in the same, both pleasure points, you know.” Upon closer examination, she’s not wrong; the vulvas could be lips, but it’s all in how you see it! The cheeky manicure is totally on brand for Aguilera, who has never been afraid to speak up and encourage others to express and celebrate themselves. (Um, hello, remember “Beautiful?” And “Dirrty?”)
