Today, 3 films have braced the theatres on the occasion of Cinema Day 3. First, On September 23, Prem Geet 3, the first Indo-Nepali movie, has been released internationally. Prem, the main character, is portrayed by Pradeep Khadka, the biggest celebrity in the Nepali cinema industry.

2nd, In R Balki’s Chup: Revenge of The Artist, featuring Sunny Deol, and Dulquer Salmaan lead, the movie has received positive reviews from critics. 3rd one in the race is R Madhavan’s Dhokha: Round D Corner, which has been panned by the critics & audiences alike. In this article we will discuss which movie is performing better & which latest release the audience likes. Chup Vs Prem Geet 3 vs Dhokha battle report is here.

Chup Vs Prem Geet 3 vs Dhokha: Which One Audience Likes

Here’s how the movies are stacked:

Chup: Revenge Of The Artist

Screens & Occupancy: Throughout the day, viewers can watch the movie for ₹75 cents as a part of the festivities. Although the team’s initial goal was to debut the platform on 600 screens, the response to advance booking on Monday was so overwhelmingly good that due to consumer demand, the number of screens is already approaching 800 across India. Chup is a pleasant surprise in terms of advance ticket sales, and the movie’s economical pricing strategy is greatly increasing attendance. The movie is currently having 100 percent occupancy in many theatres.

Box Office: Chup would strive for a first-day revenue of at least ₹2.5 crores, and depending on how much capacity it has, it might even reach the ₹3 crores level. Because capacity issues at some buildings may arise over time, Chup, the larger the capacity, the more profitable the business will be. The opening day sales will serve as a case study for the entire sector because tickets at such low prices are frequently available throughout movie times. Who knows, with tickets costing ₹75, there might be enough viewers and screens for a film to make even ₹4 or ₹5 crores on its opening day.

Prem Geet 3

Screens & Occupancy: The advance sales for Prem Geet 3 are off to an amazing start. There will be 1200 screens showing Prem Geet 3 around the world, 200 of which will be in Nepal. In the domestic market, over 70–80% of the tickets have already been sold for day 1. This is projected to generate an opening of ₹2 crores. It will be broadcast on 500 screens in India in the interim. Although tickets were only scheduled to cost 75 rupees, 75% of them had already been purchased due to the publicity and National Cinema Day celebrations. It’s expected to launch priced around ₹1.50 crores.

Box Office: In addition to 500 screens, Prem Geet 3 will be distributed in other European countries like the UAE, United Kingdom, Canada, USA, Singapore, Malaysia, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Japan, and South Korea. In these areas, a 2 crore opening is envisaged. To put it plainly, the first day’s sales would be approximately 5.50 crores.

Dhokha: Round D Corner

Screens & Occupancy: On September 23, 2022, there will be a tonne of people in the theatres since it is National Cinema Day when tickets are only 75 minimum. The box office king Brahmastra may be, but Chup and Dhokha are highly promising films. Leading multiplex chains have sold around 25,000 tickets for Dhokha on September 23 by Wednesday evening. The movie’s earnings may suffer a massive dip to extremely negative reviews from the critics.

Out of these 3 films, Dhokha: Round D corner is definitely skippable & one should go for either Prem Geet 3 or Chup. So far audiences are loving Chup more than Brahmastra itself.
