Ciara watch: Singer lands the cover of Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition

Ciara is on a hot streak – so hot apparently that the singer and new Denverite recently traveled to Barbados for a dip in the ocean and photoshoot to grace the cover of the new Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition.

Ciara is one of four cover models for the 2022 edition, announced Monday, alongside Kim Kardashian, model Maye Musk and musician/model Yumi Nu.

“I’ve always dreamt of being on this cover, ever since I was really young. And especially as an entertainer,” Ciara said in a recorded interview following her shoot. “It’s a dream come true for me.”

Ciara has long been a style icon, with several original fashion brands to her name. Among her favorite swimwear looks for the magazine were a jean two-piece, a leopard print one-piece that she sported with a cowboy hat, and a blue, semi-sheer one-piece with a turtleneck and long sleeves that extend into gloves. (The glove look is very hot right now, if you haven’t noticed from the new season of “The Kardashians.”)
