The Bay Area’s one-ring Circus Bella brought its “Flip * Flop * Fly” extravaganza to San Franciso’s Yerba Buena Gardens Saturday, June 25. The two performances were part of the colorful circus’ 13th season of free summer shows at parks in Oakland, Richmond, San Francisco and beyond.
Directed by trapeze artist Abigail Munn, the kid-friendly performances feature aerialists, jugglers, acrobats, clowns and musicians. Munn got her start early, performing at age 9 with the Bay Area’s beloved Pickle Family Circus, which performed at venues across California in the 1970s and early 1980s.
