Per Eric Pincus, the Clippers are hoping to bring Westbrook back on a hometown discount ($3.8 million) for one year.

This would be a far cry from the $46.295 million that Westbrook received heading into this season as a Los Angeles Laker before he joined the Clippers.
Westbrook played 21 games for the Clippers and averaged 15.8 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 7.6 assists per game. Before that, he played in 52 games for the Lakers and averaged 15.9 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 7.5 assists per game.
For better or worse, his numbers mostly stayed the same but the Clippers management seems to like the fit.
That said, they’ll likely have to come up a bit with this contract negotiation if they want Westbrook to stay.
