Coloradans with a penchant for luxurious winter apparel will soon have two spaces to shop Canada Goose in-person: a brick-and-mortar store in Denver and a pop-up shop in Aspen.
The Canadian clothing company is set to establish a retail location at Denver’s Cherry Creek Shopping Center in December — the brand’s second permanent store opening of 2022. The Aspen pop-up shop — slated to launch by the year’s end — will be on E. Hyman Ave.
“Each of these cities are iconic in their own right and are the perfect locations to help us reach new heights and audiences,” president Carrie Baker said. The planned openings “offer an opportunity to own a piece of the luxury of Canada.”
The recent announcement also includes news about a Las Vegas location and a pop-up store in Detroit.
Canada Goose is best known for its outerwear, such as parkas, lightweight down jackets, vests and snow pants. It also sells knitwear, gloves, hats, hood trims and more.
Its products — considered luxury apparel — come with a hefty price tag. For instance, among its bestsellers for women online, the cheapest option runs at $525 for a freestyle vest — meant for activities between 41°F and 23°F. The priciest product on that current list costs $1,695 for a women’s expedition parka heritage, developed for wear in extreme temperatures at -22°F and below.
Similar winter wear brands include The North Face, Mackage, Moncler and Bogner.
Founded in Toronto, Canada Goose‘s first two flagship stores opened in 2016 in Toronto and New York City. Its other U.S. spaces are in Massachusetts, Illinois, New Jersey, Minnesota and California.
