Coachella 2022: Celebrity sightings, surprise appearances from Weekend 2

On Saturday afternoon, many attending the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in Indio were still buzzing about Harry Styles’ special guest, Lizzo, and their collaboration on Gloria Gaynor’s disco-era hit, “I Will Survive,” the night before.

Both hitmakers performed on stage sporting feather boas, and also combined on a rendition of the One Direction classic, “What Makes You Beautiful,” which was released 11 years ago this summer, when Styles was a member of the boy band.

After the two retreated backstage, Lizzo shared a video clip — and a “thanks” to Styles — with her 1.8 million Twitter followers.

Not to be outdone, Baby Keem, about a half-hour into his set, welcomed fellow rapper and frequent collaborator Kendrick Lamar to the stage. The two combined on Baby Keem’s “Vent” and their Grammy-winner, “family ties,” to the delight of fans.

Lamar, who also performed during the Super Bowl LVI halftime show in February, earlier announced that his next album, “Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers,” will be released on May 13.

Saturday’s headline set by Billie Eilish came with its own surprise. Paramore singer Hayley Williams was brought on stage to perform an acoustic version of “Misery Business.”

Paris Hilton made her second Coachella appearance in as many weekends on Saturday, posing in pink and wearing heart-shaped sunglasses. Last week, the 41-year-old media personality and socialite used Coachella’s iconic Ferris wheel as a backdrop for a fashion shoot.

Teen Wolf himself, actor Dylan O’Brien, was walking the grounds of the Empire Polo Club with author/YouTuber/Twitter personality Desus Nice on Saturday afternoon.

O’Brien co-stars with Mark Rylance in “The Outfit,” which hit theaters in March and is now available on demand via Amazon Video, iTunes and other platforms. The next episode of Desus’ Showtime series, “Desus & Mero,” airs Thursday, April 28, at 11 p.m.

Kelly Leventhal, one of the former stars of “Real Housewives of Orange County,” and her husband, former Fox News reporter Rick Leventhal, were spotted on Friday afternoon, and a photo of them was shared on Instagram. Another former star of the show, Tamra Judge, was also at Coachella for Weekend 2.
